Pillar one
Discover
Explore what is possible. The ideas, technologies and approaches shaping everyday wellbeing, including the ones you have never heard of.
Most of the interesting work is happening quietly
The wellness things you hear about most are usually the things with the biggest marketing budgets. That is not the same as the things worth knowing about.
We go looking in less obvious places: Japanese engineering, university labs, clinical research that never made it into a headline, and the practical experience of people who have been doing this for years. Then we bring back what seems genuinely worth your time.
What we are looking at
Six areas of everyday life where something interesting is going on.
Water and hydration
Filtration, mineral content, ionisation and molecular hydrogen. Real engineering, an evidence base that is still young, and a great deal of overclaiming in between.
Sleep and recovery
Light, temperature, timing, heat and cold. The area with the strongest evidence base and, for most people, the largest gap between what they know and what they do.
Home and environment
Air quality, water at the tap, light through the day, and the ordinary setup of the place you spend most of your hours. Unglamorous and frequently the highest leverage.
Movement and strength
What actually holds up over decades rather than what trends for a season. Particularly what changes in your forties and fifties, and what to do about it.
Nutrition and supplementation
The most crowded and least honest corner of the whole field. We are interested in what has been studied properly, and equally in what has not.
Healthy ageing
Not living forever. Staying capable, mobile and independent for as long as possible, and knowing which of the current claims have anything behind them.
Curiosity first. Decisions much later.
Nothing on this page is asking you to buy anything or believe anything. Discovery is meant to be the easy, low-stakes part. Read what interests you, ignore what does not, and take the next step only if you actually want to.
